Pieces: Atlanta's Go To Shop For Fab Mid-Century Finds

Every time I’m in Atlanta, I can't wait to see what’s new at Pieces - a chic shop full of sleek mid-century "pieces" and vibrantly colored accessories that will catch your eye from the street.

Buckhead has a wealth of antique and interiors shops, but Pieces offers a look that is completely unique to Atlanta.  Walking into this crisp white space will make you feel transplanted to Beverly Hills, Palm Beach or some stylish resort town.  Owner, Lee Kleinhelter, hand selects each piece.  Lee often re-lacqueres, reupholsters and tweaks items to give them a new, fresh, hip personality.

Pieces offers just about everything for your home from vintage upholstery frames; funky tables and chairs; to statement lamps.  Don't forget to look up or you’ll miss the great selection of hanging lights.
The shop is arranged in seating vignettes, each in a different color scheme, making it easy to quickly determine what will work for your space.

Pieces offers vintage items galore, as well as their own line of furniture, including this mirrored bookcase.  There are four on display in the shop and they're merchandised by color.
Pieces offers great accessories, design books and gift items.  They also feature carpets, pillows, smalls and paper items (above) from Jonathan Adler.
This vintage chinoiserie lamp will add instant personality to any room!

Stay tuned for an upcoming post featuring more designs by Pieces owner, Lee Kleinhelter.
