"V For The Home" Offers Worldly Finds

This pair of zinc
corbels is currently one of
Deborah's top picks.
The assortment of furniture, lighting, carpets and accessories at Richmond's V For The Home has a well traveled feel.  Owner, buyer and designer, Deborah Valentine, selected patinaed continental European pieces that I would expect to see in her native New Orleans.  Brushes of gilding, mercury glass and beading excite the neutral palate.  My favorite items are lamps made from antique architectural elements and the wide selection of reasonably priced smaller antique rugs.  I will be back to shop for decorating jobs in Virginia and beyond!

V For The Home has new and antique lamps in a range of interesting materials.

This bench can double as a coffee table and ottoman.  The gold motif on top adds style while making the white ottoman more durable.

V For The Home has pretty, neutral pillows with fun twists such as the above pillow with Greek Key metallic beading.

I love finding antique lighting that has not been wired yet; putting candles in this sconce would give your dining room or even bathroom tub area a romantic ambiance.
Rugs at V For The Home are rich in pattern and perfectly worn in.
