This Week In Design: Gala & Auction with Meg Braff & Charlotte Moss, Showhouses, Charlotte Moss Lecture & More!

We're on the cusp of yet another busy Spring in the design world! On Thursday, April 14, two of my favorite designers, Meg Braff and Charlotte Moss, are co-chairing The Bone Marrow Foundation Gala at the ICA Building in New York.  I am excited about this chic event; click here for tickets: http://www.bonemarrow.org/.

Win a private day of design, wallpapers, fabrics and goodies with Meg Braff at http://www.charitybuzz.com/.
If you cannot make it to the Gala, you can still be part of the design action and help The Bone Marrow Foundation by bidding in the online auction hosted by charitybuzz.  27 luxury experiences are on auction including days of design consultation full of exclusive perks hosted by Meg Braff and Charlotte Moss.

Win a 3 day trip for 2 to Manhattan for design with Charlotte Moss, tickets to a Carolina Herrera fashion show, shopping on Madison Avenue, goodies and more at http://www.charitybuzz.com/.
The Atlanta Symphony Associates
 Decorators' Showhouse.
Next, I am heading South for the Atlanta Symphony Associates Decorators' Showhouse.  As part of the Showhouse festivities, Charlotte Moss will lecture on her seventh book, Charlotte Moss Decorates.  The lecture will take place at 11:30am on Wednesday, April 20 at the historic Piedmont Driving Club, part of which was recently decorated by Jackye Lanham.  Tickets are available through Sarah Levin by calling (404) 733-4921 or emailing sarah.levin@woodruffcenter.org.

While in Georgia, I'm looking forward scouting for clients at these design shops that Charlotte Moss has been known to frequent when she is in Atlanta:
EDGAR REEVES is a fabulous source for all things lighting.

MRS. HOWARD offers a wide variety of exquisitely merchandised new and old pieces for every room in your house.

THE STALLS houses a collection of antique dealers from various periods and locations.

Back in New York, the Kips Bay Decorator Showhouse kicks off with the Presidents Preview & Dinner on April 21 and an Opening Night Cocktail Reception on April 27.  There are so many incredible designers participating this year (Harry Heissmann, Celerie Kemble, Jeff Lincoln, Mary McDonald, Amanda Nisbet, Campion Platt, Matthew Patrick Smyth and Robert Stilin to name a few) that this Kips Bay event cannot be missed!  Visit http://www.kipsbaydecoratorshowhouse.org/ for more info.

The Kips Bay Decorator Showhouse is open to the public from April 28 through May 26, 2011.
Stay tuned to MannerOfStyle for coverage of these exciting events!
