HB Home Launches New Line For Kindel Furniture

The punchy colors and sleek design of this
showroom caught my eye from the street!
HB Home's new line and Kindel showroom is a perfect reflection of the design aesthetic I so admire in their shops: an updated take on classic style.  For example, blue and yellow is a very traditional color combination and often used in French Provencal designs.  Here, HB uses this tried and true scheme but with a very saturated yellow contrasted with navy blue resulting in a new, hip twist.  Also the walls are papered in a classic wide stripe but the graphic chair and pillow fabrics give the room a modern touch.

Kindel is well known for their attention to detail and highly skilled craftsmanship.  Pieces are made to order allowing for customization.

The "Hazel Cabinet" is a classic form brought up to the minute with slick white paint.  The interior back is a deep blue which makes the white fretwork on the doors really pop.

Blind fretwork is wood carving usually seen in oak and mahogany Chippendale furniture.  Here the "Babette Fretwork Bookcase" is made of white oak and the blind fretwork is painted to contrast - both details make this piece fresh and unexpected.

Lime green adds a fun punch to the blue and yellow scheme.  This extra tall "Brett" upholstered headboard is a great solution for adding scale to bedrooms with high ceilings.

Lime and eggplant make for a dramatic combo in this dining room!

Close up of the "Baby Babette Bookcase" - perfect for narrow spaces, such as flanking a sofa or desk in a tiny study, which are often design challenges.
