The towns of the Southeastern shore of Long Island, from Southampton to Montauk, charm and amaze visitors and residents alike. Originally settled in the 1600s, there is ample history in the Gilded Age architecture and estates of the past alongside beautiful and timeless new homes. The Hamptons, with stunning beaches and homes alike, make for a wonderful retreat. Here is a sampling of the scenery that amazed and inspired me.
A lovely example of quintessential Hamptons architecture. |
This gorgeous house is one of the first that you see as you enter town on Highway 27. |
A beautiful farm on Further Lane. |
Every time we drive by, my husband and I admire this charming house which could not be more happily situated. |
